Solution: Given,

Ascending order: 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 9, 9, 9, 9, 10, 10

Number of observations = n = 20

Median = (10th  + 11th observation)/2

= (6 + 6)/2

= 6

Most frequent observations = 9

Hence, the mode is 9.
